She comes in broad daylight
Scavenging what's just
Scattered on top of my table
Anything out in the open
She has been there lurking
Sometimes hiding herself
Among the ravages
My daily routine of coffee
And slices of apple in between
She doesn't need someone
Or something for her
To return, she just appears
You know she was there
All along, waiting to seep again.
